It has been rather longer than I would have liked since I added to my Blog so here goes to try and catch up.
Of course, after the election we have all been watching very closely to see how things will work out with a Coalition Government. It is a hard task that awaits them and only time will tell if it is successful. We can only wish them luck, especially our own MP Tobias Ellwood.
It has been rather interesting in the Council also with the resignation of one Leader and the election of a new one.
For myself, Cllr Sue Anderson, I have been very busy working with the Moordown 2010 Committee and we are now well on the way with the preparations for the Moordown Village Fete on August 14th from 12 Noon till 5 pm. We are arranging all sorts of fun things to do so we are hoping for a good turnout. Look out for the Posters and admire the Logos designed by Charlotte and Lily of Moordown St John's School. If you would like to be involved you would be greeted with open arms. Even if you could only help out on the day.
The old spectre of back garden in fill or inappropriate planning has reared it's head again but we will continue to fight to get what you, the Residents, want.
