At last the people living above 723 can breathe cleanly and easily, at least for the moment. The application to change the usage of 723 into an MOT, servicing Centre and car show room has been turned down. Unfortunately the young man involved may very well go to appeal but that could take a long time and I hope he is in a hurry.
The application was largely turned down due to a concerted effort by the Traffic management team and the Residents with a little help from the Councillors, obviously a winning combination. This has been happening all over Moordown and has helped reduce the number of back garden in-fills and other inappropriate developments in the Village.
Your Councillors are always willing to help if you contact them. We can't always win but we will always give it a really good try.
